hi all...hope you are well, painfree and happy...just trying to stay caught up. a lot has happened in the past week. the husband of a friend i work with passed away in his sleep this past saturday. only 43 years old! amy is such a sweetie, i really feel for her. they have two little girls, and he was a really funny nice man. also, another coworker lost her mom the same day. so i have been visiting funeral homes, and am going to support amy this afternoon. so sad. work has been picking up as we have been busier this past week. lucy is doing ok considering she has been terrified every day of the daily storms we have been having. steph and tom are gathering their letters of reference for their adoption agency...i now have a hot tub that works!!!lol every now and then jd shocks the heck out of me, and he worked really hard two days in a row to get that thing wired etc. we spent a little time in there on sunday. nice! and miss lily coming to stay over tonite! awesome! i tried to get a really good nite's sleep last nite, so i am ready for no sleep tonite!lol...we are putting a cot in the sunroom tonite and she will slepp on the cot and i on the sofa out there...it feels like you are sleeping in the treetops...she will love ity and so will i AND hopefully i will be able to move about normally tomorrow, since i won't be sleeping on the floor,lol...take care till next time...miss you guys! janey

That is so sad...I hope that they are able to find a sense of peace. I hope also that your sleepover with Lily goes well and send wishes for no stiffness in the AM. Do you have to work tomorrow?? Maria

Sad abt your friends' passing @ such a young age.Good that you are there to help his family.A dear friend once told me"You never get over losing your Mother", & she was right.Friends are so important at times such as these.It's good that darling Lily will be there to brighten your weekend.Hopefully,steph & tom will soon present you w/another grandbaby.Curious as to what Lucy thinks of your hot tub?My Bleux fears storms also.I pet her lots & give her a treat.She seems better if she's near me.Have a happy weekend! Sorry to hear about the friend's deaths. Always a sad thing to have to go through and he was so young too. Good idea about sleeping on the sofa this time my friend, the floor is no place for us older folks as I found out when we stayed over with family a couple of years ago. And we did have an air mattress but it was still very hard, and in the middle of winter in an unheated place full of draughts. I know you two will have a ball with her visit, you always do.
