Hi,
My 11 year old autistic son was playing happily with his legos yesterday when my 7 year old girl and her friend began watching Trent with his legos. Trent was worried they would break the legos. I got the two 7 year olds their own legos to play with and they took all the legs and heads off. Trent was so upset. I would like advise on weather to expect Trent to share the legos he is not playing with or make legos off limits to all since he is obsesed with his legos. He so many creations from star wars to spongebob and can build 1500 piece sets in one sitting, he then makes movies of his creations on his camera. Hope someone can comment. laura
I work with autistic childre. I go into homes of families who need assisitance, Trent can be taught to share his toys, if this is not natural for him or is never worked with too do this it will be very hard. I f you have diffuculty thinking you nmay not be able to do this on your own, you can seek assitance. i fyou need advicwe on how or mor about what type of assisitanc eyou can get get. He shpuld be expected to share when it is necessary.
