My daughter was admitted & released recently from a psychiatric hospital for her severe depression. She spiraled way deep and wanted to give up & kill herself. It has been extremely challenging and a very rough road for me to walk. Yet I want to support and help in any way I can. Praying that things will get better soon! :)
Treatments
- Wellbutrin Too Soon to Tell
- Still adapting to new meds and counseling. Daughter still needs prayer and healing.

Open Parenting Teenagers (12-18)
My teenager, 17, was just recently released from a psychiatric hospital for severe clinical depression. It has been a rough road for us all. With help from the doctors, new medication, counseling/therapy and prayer we are trying to get her the help she needs. It's hard to watch a beautiful cheerful loving girl hit rock bottom and want to just give up and die. :(
Treatments
- Wellbutrin Too Soon to Tell
- Switching meds from Zoloft to Wellbutrin
- Psychotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- Just started counseling/therpy for daughter
Open Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
A week ago we found out mom's kidney cancer had returned with a vengeance. She only has about 1/3 of one (1) kidney left. Been in pretty much remission for about 10 years. Praise God but now it has returned and taken over the kidney and also the liver and spine. She is already receiving radiation to the spine for pain control. The doctor said that this is not a cure but to help keep her more comfortable. We haven't even seen the cancer doctor yet. She is only 66.
Treatments
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- Helping with back pain but getting burning sensation from the radiation.
