Last night was my son's spring concert. He is in the concert band and the jazz band. I think this has been my favorite night of the year. It is sad to see it come to an end knowing it was the last concert I might see him in. Although I hope he continues in music in some form he is so very talented.
Last night they gave awards and my son won the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award..
It is a National Award, that is given to high school Seniors who have excelled in Jazz, leadership, and character.

I know what you mean. My oldest plays the trumpet and I love going to the school's concerts. I can just imagine what it will be like when he turns a Senior!
