    Stay at home mom two kids...Sabo with brain injury and secound case of autisum..Ally with a developmental and speech delay..

    Interests

    Try to help my kid's live with other people not understanding whats going on in our lives. I enjoy being envoled in my childrens education and strive to help others who have lil or no intrest in seeing what we call autisum as just a lil behind..its not something we can cover up with excusess..

      Behavior Management Somewhat Helpful
      he has a long way to go with this. but he has been evl.he just dosent like new people he will explode with every new face.
      Early Intervention Working / Worked
      at first my son was off to himself with the schools help we have been able to drag him out slowly
      Floor-Time Therapy Working / Worked
      this helped when he was two.it helped him learn to make eye contact and share. we still have a problem with sharein a bit
      Occupational Therapy Too Soon to Tell
      he just started but he hates the OT and acts up with her alot..will see next year
      Picture / Word Schedules Working / Worked
      seems to use this more at school then at home..here its just food icons and some action one..at school he is on a check list and pixs..
      Play Therapy Working / Worked
      this allowed him to see what toy does what.it helped with sounds of animals and also with emotions with the use of dolls..that cry and talk.
      Sign Language Working / Worked
      he seems to use this the most when he dosent get what he wants..he is up two 200 hundred signs now
