I am 39 years old I am going in for gastric bypass surgery on May 22, 2007. I am married and have for boys two of which are grown and out of the house. I weigh 240 lbs and I am anxious to have this surgery. My mon had it about 5 years ago and she lost alot of weight but now has gained 15 lbs back. I want to make sure that won't happen. So I am following the doctor by the T. The two week liquid diet before surgery is kind of rough.

You look great. I have been thinking of having the tummy tuck but I am afraid, plus I want to wait a year to see if I can get pregnant. May I ask, how much did it cost and how much did they take off?
Best wishes on your speedy recovery. Thanks for the info. You are very brave to have it done. I hope my courage is as strong as yours. Thanks.!

It is April 22, 2008 and I have had alot of ups and downs with my surgery. I had a stricture and had to have a second surgery for it. I then was still getting very nauseated and my surgeon wanted to reverse my bypass and I told him no way. I ended up getting a new surgeon the surgeon who did my moms bypass and he immediately set me up for gall bladder surgery, which did the trick. I am now having problems with what they are calling chronic constipation. I know I have made the right decision.
