I started working for a local fabric shop on Thursday.  I worked for them about 4 hours on Thursday and 2 hours today before my testing at the county.  I am happy to be working even part time. I enjoy fabrics and quilting.  They have such beautiful Fabric at the Red Hen and the women are lots of fun.

I think I did well on my testing for the county and believe I may be getting a call to come work for them.  I did about average on the excel test and I know I did above average on the word test.  They don't give you the results but you can go back and look at which ones you got right or wrong and make your own assumption by doing the math.  I may a little remorseful if I have to leave my new found friends at the Red Hen in leiu of a better position within the county.  They are all so kind to me and have each taught me something in the few hours I have spent there.  I think I can learn alot from these ladies, so if the county doesn't call, I still win!  Either way, life is grand!  LOL.  Lately I have felt at peace and have enjoyed every moment of it.

MIL is still doing well after surgery, DH just got promoted last week and I have been working like a mad woman on some cushions one of my friends commissioned me to do.  I can't wait to finish them, they are a beautiful burnt orange with accent pillows that are burnt orange and gold.  What fun fabric to work with.  I will have to post a picture of them after they are constructed.
