I have had my first week working in the Senior Center and I love it. Yes there are some really cranky people but there are some really fun ones too. I am excited for the opportunity to work in the county again and also to get the benefits of a county worker! So far so good!
I am almost finished with the cushions I promised a friend and they look wonderful. For some reason I am suprised I did such a good job on them. I usually pick my projects to pieces and can't stand them when I am finished. I am becoming quite an accomplished sewer. Hopefully I will get pictures of them at the party tomorrow.
For the moment I have had much to keep me busy and keep my mind off of the infertility issue. I am not sure how I feel about it anymore. It's like I am doing my best to put it on the shelf until I can examine it with less feeling.....like that's possible. How do you examine such an emotional thing with less feeling? I guess I am just trying to live in the now for the time being. Not the future and not the past but what is in front of me for the moment.

Sounds like you are having a blast at the Senior Centre, a much better report after the first week than your last place. The seniors have so much to share with us don't they, even the cranky ones:-). The "Now" is a good place, it's a safe place, know we are here to support when you take IF off of your shelf.
