At 17 I took a spill down some stairs fracturing my skull. A subderal hematoma formed on the left side of my head. I was life lighted and operated on by the top neurosurgeon in Houston. I spent 3.5 weeks in the hospital recovering. Even directly after surgery I showed no signs (cognitively) of a BI. I'm 30 now and have had 2 seizures due to this injury. My case doesn't sound like anything I've read about in medical journals and BI information sites.
