It might be helpful if a nurse or doctor could take your daughter aside and explain to her what epilepsy is all about. She may just be confused. I'll bet there are books for children at the public library that might help explain it.
Then again, when my 10 year old shouted at me she got sent to her room for some "time out". (Kids like to push the limits sometimes, just to see what will happen). I hope you can get it settled. take care. Eva =o)

Hi Susan,
One of the things that might be erking your daughter is the fact that she is a little scared of what will happen to you. Especially if she doesn't quite understand the condition of epilepsy fully. Also another thing I always talk about with my teenagers is if they are having any problems outside of the home(like school friends). You might want to gently bring up the subject and see if it starts a conversation. Opening the door to conversation sometimes brings out the "real" problem that's bothering her. I hope things work out for you...it can be very hurtful when kids lash out. They say that anger is just fear turned inside out. I wish you the very best.
God bless.
