This turned out to be disappointing at best, first he made me cool my heals for 15 minutes while he met with one of his partners. Any way he did tell me with the ever downward spiraling values of homes I would get to pay her even less then what we had previously guesstimated that she would get so that was good. Still no word from her lawyers office regarding a settlement and I am pretty sure that is delaying tactic on her part so she can stay one the benefits and I keep paying her car insurance. On April 25th we have a settlement hearing with the judge so with any luck we should have some thing then or we go to trail in May I guess. I feel she can work, she completed her para legal course and got straight A's and she is currently and intern at a law firm. I asked again about her filing for bankruptcy and he agreed that would be a very good thing. So am I any close to have this bull shit over no, did I really find out any thing no, was it a complete waste of time yes. I am a little pissed but that seems to be the goal here so I just run with it and see what happens next. My lawyer did think that my ex would not be well served by going to trial so with any luck that will not happen. Any way thats it have a beer for me and wish me luck this is getting really, really old and I just want it over.

Since it's been 16 months and counting since my divorce complaint was filed.... I definitely know how frustrating it is to have to keep waiting for something to happen with the divorce. Good luck with everything! :)

I know how frustrating this all is. It took me 16 months to get divorced. Wow, she got that paralegal done quickly. I wonder what type of course she took. The courses I am taking is a two year program. In time this will all be done and you can move on.

common ground as ugly as it is. you can sink the heels deep in the mudd but finding ways out of this asap sounds the ideal goal. trying to get closure is the finality of this whole thing. man, don't want you surpassing, the year anniversary, but doesn't look like that's gonna be avoided. you're in my thoughts brother.
