About Me
I've been married for 40 yrs. and have 3 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren. I love calligraphy and graphic arts and produce greeting cards and do freelance calligraphy. I also love to travel in the US and overseas - Paris is my favorite place though Amsterdam is a close second. I'm so lucky to have been able to do the artwork I love and the travel that inspires me. Always try to turn the lemons into lemonade. The cup is always half full. Without optimism I would be lost.

Close COPD & Emphysema
Hi all, I'm new at this and may have posted this in error to ALL the communities - oops. I'm so glad I've found this site. I just received the word that I have severe emphysema and that I need to go on oxygen. I think I am still in shock from that news. I did smoke for about 20 yrs. but quit smoking 19 years ago. My regular doc has been treating me for 4-5 years for asthma. I've pressed her to refer me to a pulmo dr. Finally did & he's stunned that it took so long. More tests to come.
