At long last (take 2) 14th Aug Mood
Wednesday, August 13, 2008

Yes yes yes, the scales have gone below the dreaded 97 kg.

I have written this journal once, then lost it.  LOL

I know I am different inside, because once, not that long ago, losing my journalentry would have sent me into a depressive state.  Now it is just annoying!!  Yippee for progress!!!

I have been on the plateau between 97 and 98 kg for a month and a half.

Admittedly I have not tried overly hard, or stuck to any exercise regime, so it was nice to see that I could maintain, just by living.

I have been focusing on other stuff.  Men - husband, relationships, etc,  getting the farm ready to sell, getting ready to pick our fruit (we start picking Monday 18th - anyone want a job?), getting office work up to date, getting equipment maintained etc...

But now I am anxious to get rid of the next several kg.  For several reasons.

We are going to the snow on the 29th Aug for a week.  The boys have never seen snow.  I have not been looking forward to it, but yesterday I started to dig out old ski stuff and book lessons for the kids etc and I started to get a bit keener.  To some degree it just seems like a holiday for hubby and kids and work for me.   Mothers always get the washing, cooking, cleaning, packing cars, holding the gloves, etc...

D has a friend with a house down there so, at least it will be cheaper.  He is really excited and keen to go.  So are the kids. "How many days till we go Mummy?"  Cute, but drives you nuts!

I figure if I am going to ski, I had better exercise more before we go, get fitter etc.

So hopefully I can stay ontrack till the end of Aug.

Only 12 kg to go.

Hugs and love to you all.
