    I am the oldest of 5 children whose parents are from the old country. As an accountant, I work for a flooring company near my home. I love to play baseball and a good card game. I also enjoy being silly and socializing with family and friends. My ex and I didn't have kids and am undecided on kids in the future.

        We were together for 18 years since we were 16. Married in 1997 and were very happy. Bought a house in hopes of renovating it into our dream home. Got halfway through and he lost interest. He started spending A LOT of time with our tenants (mom/3 girls) and eventually told me he chose them over me.

        Couples Counseling Not Working
        I think my husband agreed to counseling just to confirm his belief he didn't want to be married anymore. It was such a crock.
        Psychotherapy Working / Worked
        Saw a therapist after my husband left. She was wonderful and I left her office feeling great.

        You can't put a price on this support!
        Time Working / Worked
        It's been 15 months now and the pain has subsided (somewhat). There are lingering feelings when one is abandoned by someone you love so much.
