I might get a parakeet. …
I might get a parakeet.
I woke up from a nightmare (that I don't remember) feeling hopeless. At least, I assume that an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness qualifies a bad dream for "nightmare" status (since only dreams that one wakes from feeling something are actually nightmares).
I've fed the fish, mixed some broccoli tops (buds?) into the parakeet food, and taken my first pill. I can't find my water bottle (it might be out in my car maybe?) since last night, which is basically a tragedy. I asked my husband to get some granola bars for me (to eat for breakfast) and I just found out they all have chocolate chips in them. I'm going to have to ask him for ones with no candy and some dried fruit in them.
Last night, there was an "emergency meeting" for my sorority, because I guess there hadn't been enough drama up until then. *rolls eyes* The meeting was drama-licious, seriously. The President had neglected to pay her dues, and so was going to be made inactive if she didn't. But the standing VP wanted to hash out every little thing that has ever pissed her off, so the meeting lasted an hour. All that I hope is that the standing VP's barely controled anger and whining will convince people not to vote for her in the upcoming election (plus, she eventually got the Pres to cry, it was pretty horrible). *shrugs*
I just turned off the A/C and turned on the heat. The "zoo" room has to be warm, for the 'keet. But I need the bedroom to be cold (and my new medication makes me feel far warmer than I am usually, which is saying something), so we keep having to warm up then cool down the house. It's a pain, and probably expensive.
My Pandora Radio station was playing all depressing music, but then it played The Shins (a depressing song of their's, but still more upbeat than the rest of it), so I feel a bit better.
I might get a parakeet.
