The second half of 2008 will have to be better! Mood

I'm getting so bored with myself and these depressing journals, it has to get better, 2008 has stunk so far!

So today Michael has to go to the pound and sign Jake over to them and pay $135. I'm already heartbroken about this.

Then Michael's SIL called and said the Dr's have given up on Joe,(he has leukemia) they have tried everything but they are giving him a max. of 6 months-possibly as little as 2 weeks to 2 months.

He went home with lots of Morphine and is preparing to start giving his stuff away-he's my age only 36!! With 3 very young children. I'm just sick over it...

I have been feeling sore all over-oh, and I think I found a little lump in my breast! My breasts generally feel lumpy to me though, always have but this little thing kinda feels like a small ball. I read that when you find something in your breast it has already been there for 5-10 years, that's pretty crazy huh?! I am not panicking though, I know it's usually something else but I know I have to have it checked pretty soon. But we are so tight lately and all the co-pays and meds are killing me along with the grocery and gas bills-and my Mother has stopped working!! I don't want to even get into that right now.

Ian is so much better-I will post a pic soon to show how perfect his eye is, can't tell anything ever happened, aside from our sadness at losing Jake.

I hope you're all well today-my friends here mean the world to me, you guys really are better than my "real life" friends-love you all.

I am so sorry to hear about all that you are going through. Here's a huge hug! That's awful about your BIL.
A lump isn't something to mess with. Chances are it's nothing, but please get it checked. If it is something, at least it can get taken care of.

Glad to hear that Ian is better. I saw the pic and wow. He's very lucky. I know you must be heartbroken about Jake. That's hard, but you did the right thing.

Sure hope things start to look up for you.

Wow, that's just horrible! I'm so sorry you're going through so much. Get that lump checked out. I will keep reading your journals to see how things are going. Hugs!

Hey! I am so glad little Ian's eye is better. This is such a great place to come and hear from others who are having it tough too. I really hope you get that lump checked out. Maybe they have a free day at a clinic near by? It can't hurt to look. I hope things start looking up for you, you have really been through it. Thinking about you, April

JJ, I am worried about that breast lump. No excuses you have to get it checked out...unless you have or are due for your period. If one of the 2 of those are probable, then it can be a safe assumption it may be hormonally caused and will go away whwn your period does. If no to the above...GET TO THE DOC! When did you last have a mammogram? I love you and want to keep you well. Do I have to get an expensive airlig ticket and take you myself!!!! I can't believe mom's job is caput...but then I guess I should siing what kind of burden she has become.
