I am not married, but I am in a long term relationship with my boyfriend. I have no children but I have 3 kitties which act like babies (but I love them to pieces) and 1 Boxer Pup. I am Trying to have a baby later in life, which is quickly becoming more stressful than I realized it would be. I will not let it deter my goal of having one child, I have to be patient and work at it.

I passed my fetus May 8, 2007 - it was a natural miscarriage. I was diagnosed with an impending miscarriage 3 weeks ago - and it has been the longest 3 weeks of my life. I buried the fetus that I expelled, under a blueberry bush, as a source of comfort and rememberence. Looking to try to have a baby again, but kinda scared too.
I have been an avid runner for 15+ years, and picked up weight lifting (as a means to strenghten and tone my muscles) for 10+ years. I used to be very good and disciplined at sticking to my routine. I just recently found out I was pregnant (much to my surprised) and shortly thereafter I suffered a miscarriage. I am having problems getting back into my routine. Before, I would run 5-6 days a week, and lift every oter day. Now - I am lucky if I get 4 days a week running.
I have been smoking, on and off, for 10 years. I want to quit smoking before I try to have a baby. I feel that my smoking was a contributing factor to my miscarriage in May 2007. It is time for me to quit.
