About Me
Housewife, married with 3 children. My 18 an 15 year old sons both have Asperger's syndrome, my 13 year old is borderline. I have been told that I show traits of this too. We all attend the local Anglican Church and are very attached to our cat, we had two until last week when we had to have our other one put to sleep as though only five he was very ill - we are all very distraught over this. Personally I enjoy reading historical novels , listening to classical music and doing cross stitch.I do suffer periodically from bouts of depression and have had a lifelong battle with weight issues.

I’m With You
hi hazel,i hope you are ok ,i still have my headache,but it is bearable,i will not be around for a few daysas we have to go to skegness to close our static caravan down for the winter,the site closes on the 31st of october,and this is the only time we can spare for a few weeks.i am still having trouble with my laptop,so i will not be able to keep in touch,keep yourself safe till i get back ,love and hugs ,helen.

Close Asperger Syndrome
My oldest son was first picked up as having difficulties at nursery school just as I found I was pregnant with my second son. The oldest spent his whole school life at a brilliant special needs school and is now at a special needs college studying graphic art and film and tv production. My second son is in year 10 of a main stream school with 10 hours of classroom support a week.My daughter has some help with school relationship issues.I feel guilty as it seems to have come through my family.
Close Caregivers
i'm a married mom of 3 2 'fully' aspergers sons 18 and 15 and a 13 year old border line daughter.have just been told at 48 that I have some degree of it as well. Just need some understanding from others who know what it's like.
Open Bereavement
In Jan I lost my dad to cancer which was hard, but finding it even harder, which makes me feel guilty, to come to terms with having to take my 5 year old cat to the vets last week and having him put to sleep, he was my baby and my friend and i feel so empty and lost.
Treatments
Open Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Have suffered with this for best part of 19 yeasr, and usually over the winter month, started early this year.Last week has been so har with very little sleep.

- Ibuprofen Somewhat Helpful
- Takes some of pain away and reduces to uncomfortable tingling
- Wrist Splint Somewhat Helpful
- makes it just more comfortable and means I can still do things with my hands
Open Financial Challenges
trying to cope with loss of Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit now oldest is 20 and loss of hubbies night shift payment due to financial crisis-a loss of £400+ in a months income on an already tight budget.
