this is my first time on a site like this. (for anything)
I am to the end of my rope. I have been experiencing panic attacks (according to my doctor) for the past year. Had two last April but have experienced 5 in the last 2months. I am taking Zoloft and Xanax. They seem to make me more jittery. I have chest pain all the time anymore. Complete with shortness of breath.
I have two younger children and a husband, I just feel that I am letting them down.
I worry about the chest pain thinking I might be having heart problems. (I did have a stress test last week)
My mainn concern is the chest pain. Do others experience this?
Sometimes it feels as though my bra is too tight. Other times it does feel like a muscle is too tight.
IS THIS NORMAL?????? I really am afraid the stress test missed something and I will be dropping over at any minute. Meds dont seem to be working as well as I thought!!!!!
HELP!!!!!!!
Welcome! I experience chest pain, clammy hands, ache on left side, tingling sensation, muscle tension, dry mouth, etc., and for me, it's a panic attack. Sometimes my clothes feel tight and I experience "bloating" in my stomach. I would speak with your Dr. about the meds making you more anxious. This is a great support group! Feel free to message me anytime! Have a good evening!

You feel like you are letting your family down because of the anxiety and panic attacks. I too feel the same way but I know it is wrong to think that way. If we could change things we would in a heartbeat. My daughter is getting married next month and I am sooooo worried about being able to enjoy her special day without panic and fear. They love us despite the illness but as moms it is difficult to accept. I like yourselk have wondered about heart problems as my arms and hands have been tingling with some numbness for the last few weeks. Would also like to know if anyone else has had these symptoms. Take care and know your with people who truly understand. Look forward to chatting again.
