Sorry to report no real help for me from the demag. I'm now two weeks into it. I've been demagging 2-3 times a day...I plan to keep it up for atleast another 2 weeks.
I did mention before I had mild headaches after demagging. This happened only twice. The headaches did not seem to be related.

Pretty pathetic...Friday night at 11:30 and I'm here. My kids must be right, I'm a geekazoid. Geekazoid didn't have any suggested spellings on spell check?
I wonder if this device is really doing anything or if I should just find a stick in the yard and gently place it in my ear and the spirit of the Indian who planted the tree would help ease my T. If I'm real fortunate, perhaps George Washington pee-d on the same tree and he could also help.
Yesterday was awful. My T seemed to RAGE all day and night. Today was a very good day and I hardly noticed the T. I'm hardly noticing the T right now. I demag'd twice today and also drank two cups of coffee, ate a half a bag of salted sunflower seeds and I'm now washing them down with a budweiser. I have to get up extremely early tommorrow. My 11 year old boy is playing in a weekend baseball tournament at the Cal Ripken stadium in Maryland and we're both very excited to go. I believe this is why my T seems so much more bearable today. The irony of this is that I have felt good and excited before and my T has been awful. Maybe the demag is starting to help and emotions don't really get in the way one way or another. "???"
I remember a wise man saying that someone with a good sense of humor is one who feels bad about things but at the same time feels good about feeling bad. I hope to be able to put this damned T in the same perspective.

Haven't done caffiene in a couple of years... Haven't picked up a salt shaker since 1979. I need to drink but don't. I enjoyed the writings today... Keep a good sense of humor and you will do fine.. Keep me posted... I may check into the demag if it works for you...
I have tried ring stop and hear all. Ringstop didn't seem to make much differance... Hear all made my hyperacausis much more bearable... There at the health food store... Good Luck..
I'm on day 6 of my demag therapy? I've noticed no real increase or decrease in my T. One benefit I'm noticing is that certain sounds are not so troubling. If I have hyperacusis, it's mild. Lately sounds like crumpling paper and kids voices don't seem "muffled".
I'm doing three sessions a day about 5 to 7 minutes each session.
Also, I do sometimes notice mild headaches after demagging. They last less than an hour. This is unusual because I never get headaches unless I drink a slurpee too fast.

Hi John,
I'm the same way. We're both fortunate to not have to contend with headaches. I only get mine after too much wine or, yes hahaha, after power sucking a coke/cherry mixed slurpee through a straw too fast.
John, I'm going to be following your experience closely. If anyone could benefit from this little device my hope is that it be you. But that doesn't mean it will unfortunately.
If you're knowing some headache immediately post use my spare opinion would be to apply twice per day, as most are, instead of 3 times per day. There is no protocol or guideline for recommended use of course; application of the demag is just sort of "what works for you -- if it works for you". Some are using it externally as well the ear canal; some are doing it for 2 minutes sessions some people 5 (but no more than 5). Some are oscillating (turning) the demag while in the canal, some are just holding it steady. Thanks for your experience thus far.

Good Luck on that... I had never heard of it...Try ring stop and hear all... You can find them at health food stores... Only try one at a time, and chart your results... I think hear all( I think that's the right name) will lessen your hyperacausis...
