About Me
I am a recovered alcoholic of 3.5 years sobriety. I work in care, looking after people with learning difficulties, and have written a book on my addiction and recovery. I believe God came to my aid when I asked Him whilst I was in rehab. I play guitar, and chess (badly), enjoy cooking (even worse than my chess). I wouldeventually like to work with people who have drug and alcohol problems.
Interests

I am a recovered alcoholic of three and a half years. At my worst I was drinking 2 bottles of brandy a day, never sleeping, just going unconcious until my body woke me wanting more alcohol. I have been through many withdrawals, and have been close to death, but i recovered
Treatments
- 12 Step Program Working / Worked
- The third step prayer saved my life whilst in rehab
- AA Meetings Somewhat Helpful
- Cold Turkey Working / Worked
- Extremely dangersous without medical supervision, hostpialised many times
- Detox Not Working
- Detox was never enough for me, always followed by relapses and hospitalisation
