About Me
I keep busy. Ebay provides a way to do that and control my environment. My friends have said, I am the most well sick person they have met. I have had primary polycythemia vera now for 20 years and still live a somewhat normal life. I am thankful for that.

Close Polycythemia
Greetings, I have had Primary Polycythemia for 20 years. I started when I was 39. I have a number of clots, then embolysms. I have moved to Asia and have not had a clot or been in the hospital in 10 years. I am on 10MG Cumadin and 500cc Hydrea. I am quite stable and have lived an amazing life as a sick person. I would be happy to talk about why that is.
Treatments
- Hydroxurea Working / Worked
- Well, it help, you you still will need blood letting.
- Phlebotomy Working / Worked
- It is a good treatment. Make sure you have a hemotologist. Don't be afraid of this disease. You can live a normal life even if you have had clots and embolysms. You will need to eat right, get exercise, and keep your spirits up. I know this is hard without proper support.
