    About Me

    My husband of 7 years moved out because he "wasn't happy." Turns out he was having an affair. After a year of separation and living in limbo, our divorce was final on April 24, 2008. I WILL get past this and make a better life for myself. I have already seen evidence that time DOES heal. I'm in a much better place than when I first joined this site. I no longer blame myself for his adultry and the demise of our marriage. I did everything I could to save it, even after he cheated. I realize (most of the time) that I am better off without him. I just need a little more time to heal completely.

      I truely believe counseling would work if he would only go.

      My father is an alcoholic. He is finally seeking help after being hospitalized for several days due to Pancreitis. I will do everything I can to support him on his road to recovery.
