i am a 31 yr old female who has lupus(i was diagnosed in oct '05). i also have lupus nephritis, which initially seemed to be under control but 3 months after diagnosis, i needed to be on dialysis. i hope the first few yrs of diagnosis are the worst!

i was diagnosed in october of 2005. 3 months later i had a brain clot which put me in a coma for 2 days. when i came to i was on dialysis. i've had seizures (last one in sept), heart blocks and ulcers. i've been in and out of hospital with fevers, each time being attributed to the lupus. the longest i've gone without a flare or any problem is 3 months. i've found this site hoping to share with others the pain.
