Good Luck
loll. hey woman. read your latest journal. i have my fingers crossed for todd. i am sending super positive energies to the powers that be. i hope this works out. i really really do. why does life have to be so darn difficult? lazy people... they should struggle.... but people that really want to work.... should not struggle... ever. life is far from fair. and i hate to say this.... it can really freakin' stink sometimes. it seems like the obnoxious people... get life handed to them on a silver platter.... with all the trimmings... and the stand up good characters with good morals take the beating. what gives. i surrender. xo you and todd take good care..... best of LUCK

Close Celiac Disease
I think my story is like everyone else's with celiac. I was really sick with gastro problems. Lots of pain and lots of meds. My husband found an article...Doc's said no to celiac, but I went gluten free anyway. Now I am much better. (Most days) I started GF in January 06.

Close Parenting Preschoolers (3-5)

Open Parenting Big Kids (5-8)
I have two wondeful girls. McKinzie 6 and Claudia 4. And I am doing my best to make them into good, happy, intelligent, confident women.

Open Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ParentI lost my dad just over a year ago. My mother and I were his primary care providers. He had throat cancer. It was very difficult, the day to day care. But nothing has been more difficult than not having him here.
Treatments
Open Head and Neck cancers
Type: LaryngealI'll be the first to join....My dad had laryngeal cancer. He passed away Sept. 16, 2005. I was one of his main care givers and helped deal with treatments and cleanings required of someone with a trach. I am here to try and help.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Not Working
- Dad tried everything there was to try, but the cancer always came back stronger. His tumor was a stage 4 before it was discovered.
Open Phobia
I am afraid of vomitting.....It's really ridiculous. If I hear about someone getting a virus or having food poisoning, I feel quezy. I used to not eat for 72 hours after a known exposure to a virus...just in case. I fight it everyday. And I am trying to get better for the sake of my kids. I don't want them to be like this.
Open Homelessness
I am a homeless care advicate. I work with the homeless in Dallas, trying to help them find work, housing and health care. I also work tirelessly to raise awareness about the truths of homelessness.
Open Home Schooling
I have a 5 year old and a 7 year old.... My 7 year old had a bad couple of years in a private school, so now I am home schooling and loving it!
