Hey girl. I'm doing well. Still haven't found the one. At times it gets lonely but I still have some good guys I have met that I'm still friends with and still see from time to time and still have a potential one that I got close to and haven't met yet bc of the distance. I cant wait 'til he visits. In the meantime Im doing well trying to find out what i really want in life that I think will make me happy. How you been doing girl? Is your divorce final? I can't remember. I Know it's been a while since i talked to ya ab who you were seeing and all. Its a jungle out there huh. Too bad we're not closer and could go out together. Well. Support Groups
Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Diagnosed a little over a year ago. The doctors have given me the "go ahead" to try to concieve now, but now my marriage is in jepordy and a child would make that worse. I don't thik I'll ever have children.
Treatments
- Metformin Working / Worked
- Periods are more regular now, but sometimes 2-3 days late. I do have some yucky side effects though.
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- In addition to the Metformin, my doctor put me on it. I take Yasmin.
Close Obesity
I have been overweight my entire life. Moved over into the "obesity" category this year after finding out I have PCOS, apparently the two go hand in hand. I am now down 33 pounds!
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Lost 50 pounds by cutting out all carbohydrates, only to gain it all back because I couldn't keep it up.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Joined Lifetime Fitness on June 15th. Hope this helps A LOT. Need to firm up and loose the weight in my midsection especially.
- NutriSystem Not Working
- Didn't like their food and I got edema in my legs from the high sodium content. I only used it for a week.
