Friday, April 25, 2008 | A General Update story

hello i am back ,i have been to my daughters [eldest] to look after her family ,she went away with her husband , but after 2 days he was taken to intensive care ,they thought he had a brain tumour ,but Thank GOD he hasnt ,but he has got a swelling inthe fount part of his brain and fluid at the back behind his ears ,so his balance has gone ,they should have come home last friday ,but had to stay another they were in spain week ,i stayed with my granchildren ,they were all very worried and upset as we all were ,he is now at home taking lots of pills ,doctors said he will get better but they dont know how long it will take ,i may have to go back there and help my daughter if he gets to bad again ,but god willing he will recover soon .

As i have said be fore i am just so gratfull that i am able to be there for them today ,oh my youngest daughter has her leg in plaster but she is ok ,i am helping her where i can .My son is moving to Norwich next Monday so i am going to look after his children on monday while they finish packing [its all go here]

any way i am fine did not get liver scan done as i wasnt here ,but will go next week ,my family come first ,but i am fine ,just tired ,so early night for me

Hi Saber. Hope your son-inlaw gets beter soon and you can all get back to some kind of normality. Everything seems to be comeing along all at ones for you all.
Hopefully you can all have a nice weekend, the weather is realy nice here this morning, as you are just up the road im presuming its the same where you are. t/c

Wow, your relationship with your children have come so far from this time last year. =) =) =)
Isn't it just wonderful to be able to be there, and sober, for our kids now that they have thier own families. Especially when they work on thier own recovery, too.

Hun you gotta remember that ya got to put yourself and your own health 1st sometimes. Otherwise you won't be able to help them. Get to the doc... =) Lotsa Luv & Hugz, Shellie

Hi my friend saber you are certainly having a busy time with your family and hope your son in law gets better soon but watch yourself my friend you need to look after you and get that appointment made dont leave it, you are such a special caring person but look after youxxxxxxxxxxxx
