About Me
64, been a caregiver off and on for the past 17 yrs for one member of the family or the other and my health is suffering greatly. I retired to FL to have a good life on the beach and I so want that to happen. UPDATE: It has been 2 years since I signed onto this site, so age is different (Yuck) and I am still loving my retirement near the beach. Still not all I want it to be, but take what God gives me with a smile. :-)

Close Coronary Heart Disease
Had first/only heart attack on Dec. 26, 2006. Had heart cath and have 60% blockage in one artery and diagnosed with "spastic heart" which is connected to my hypertension and anxiety problems. Going to beat this thing. Do not have time to be sick.
Treatments
- Angioplasty Working / Worked
- Aspirin Working / Worked
Close High Blood Pressure
Have suffered from hypertension for 30 years. First stroke at 36 if when I found out that there was even a problem. No major strokes since then, but a lot of medication combinations until we found something that would work. Had heart attack in Dec. 2006 partially due to hypertension. Take your medicines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- The combination keeps my blood pressure on an even keel. So good to feel better

OMG!!! Is there enough room? My 42 yr old daughter is a TBY survivor (7 years now) and she lives with me and sometimes I just think I cannot do this anymore and then I think, my God, I am so selfish. I had a heart attack during the 2006 Holidays and the DRs maintain that is was mostly due to stress. No kidding.
