About Me
I am my mothers caregiver and I need help, support, and understanding from others because my family says they understand, but unfortunately they don't because they do not care for Mom. They don't deal with the Doctor's, the nurses, the screams of Mom in pain, and ect.. As you can see I just need people I can talk to and that will "know" truly where I am coming from and can help.

Hi, my name is Tami. I do not have COPD, but I live with it every day. I am my Mothers caregiver. I watch every day what she goes through. She is as the nurses say, "A train wreak, but a nice train wreak". Mom has "End Stage COPD" and several other health issues. I want to understand from others what she goes through to help her better and get advice from others on how to handle the doctors. It is so hard sometimes because I feel like I am letting her down some how.
Treatments

- It help when Mom is having a hard time breathing to help her catch her breath, besides the breathing excercises.

I am a recovering Herion and Cocaine addict. I have been clean and sober for 4 years and 5 months. I previously was clean for 11 years and relapesed, but praise God I have a new 4 years and 5 months clean and I feel better this time. My relapse showed me alot and has helped me to make the decisions I make today in my life. I was recently re-married in December of 2005 and am very happy. I care for my Mother who has COPD.
