Well I have some good news. I checked my email today and suprisingly enough I got a conditional offer of employment from the Montgomery County Fire Department. I honestly didn't think I was going to make it this far but I have and it's kinda hard to believe. All that is left is the medical examination (which I know I'm gonna pass because I don't even touch drugs) and the Candidate Physical Ability Test. I'm a little nervous about the CPAT because I'm not in top
physical shape and I've heard that lots of people fail it. But it's in 2 months which gives me a good amount of time to train and prepare. I don't think I've ever been this excited in my entire life...I am so ready to move on from this dead end job to saving lives and getting paid for it.

Calus, I've been checking your journals everyday, waiting for the news that you got hired at a fire department. It happened, and I'm so so happy for you. This is just the best news!!
