Hey Girl, Hope things are well with you. Gary finished his chemo/radiation. Has Ivor Lewis surgery on 25 April. We are going to AZ for a little vacation and then back to fighting EC. I spend alot of time reading and chatting at the EC site. Hugs, Sammy
Glad he's only "lumpy"!!! Good luck on the 10th. Hugs, Sam
How things goin?? Gary has been back home since Friday afternoon. He restarted his radiation therapy on Monday morning. The 2 different surgeries he had on his arm last week were successful, he continues to have full use of his hand. He is on blood thinners now and there should be no more blood clots, now we just hope for no nose bleeds!!! :-) He has been feeling better the last two days and has actually gained 1.5 lbs of the 14 he had lost. This has been a pretty scary journey for the last few weeks. Lots of energy is expended just worrying about what might happen next! Every night we watch for temperature spikes and quickly try to get them under control. He is constantly taking his temp, blood pressure and we keep track of everything! HUGS to you & Rusty... Sammy
I hope things go better for you and Rusty soon!! My Hubby made it thru his first day of chemo and radiation today. No side effects yet Thank God! A home health Nurse is coming tomorrow to teach us about the J tube. HUGS, Sammy
Thanks lady!! I am learning so much from you! I will write more to you soon! HUGS, Sammy
