About Me
I suffer from Anxiety and have for 15+ years. I try to be upbeat and enjoy myself sometimes I just can't. My faith in God gets me along way. Most people by looking at me wouldn't take me as a church going person but I love fooling people :) Never judge a book by it's cover pretty much sums me up in that aspect.
Interests
God, tattoos, good music, my family what broken pieces are left of it.

My grandson was named Keenan, for Maynard Keenan. My son thinks he is a God... I just love my grandson's name, not a big Tool fan myself, I like APC bit better, I can handle them ( getting old), but love the name Keenan, and I adore my grandson so much, the name suits him. Take care ~Audrey

Thanks for your reply. have been on the beta blocker two days and feel like I have been released from my own private hell. No side effects, just a bit tired, but I feel like this may do the trick. It is so awesome to be not walking around tortured by my anxiety! Are you a TOOL fan?..Lateralus is a CD my son loves he had it tattoed on his neck... Just wondering. Take care~ Audrey

thanks 4 the reply you gave about 'meds an pregnancy' thats was a big help. so after your wife gave birth, was she ok, did she go back to her normal meds? i feel that the worry of giving birth an having a healthy baby will kick of the anxiety, but i aint gettin any younger! an apart from my anxiety, am sooo ready for a lil' rugrat!! noticed your into tattoos, hav a look at mine in 'my photos' i luv it! it was designed for me, so is unique, the writing on it means happiness. hope u an your family are good right now lol vicky

I have had anxiety/Panic disorder for 15 years. Not sure what else do say :)
Treatments
- Breathwork Working / Worked
- Works well when I can slow myself down
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- Switched over to Klonopin and it lasts much longer then Xanax and seems to work better for me.
- Meditation Working / Worked
- Working on learning more about it. Works well to slow yourself down and relax
- Xanax Working / Worked
- Took it for 12 years then my body became to tolerant and I didn't want to keep upping my dose
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionSuffered from Anxiety/Panic/Depression for 15+ years
Treatments
- Celexa Not Working
- Would have worked if it didn't make my heart race. Took for a month and couldn't take the way it made me feel like I was on speed.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Worked but gave me tachycardia and other terrible side effects. Dealt with them for 3 years before getting off.
- Meditation Working / Worked
- Trying to learn more about this I use it alot for anxiety
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- Works when I can focus
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Works if I can find the right counselor
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- Have very few family that supports me through this most just trashed me which made everything worse.
- Writing Working / Worked
- Always helps but I have little time to actually do it.
- Zoloft Not Working
- Took for 5 years just kept raising the dose I think it made me worse.
