I saw my neuro on Saturday (in Boston) and my MS has not changed. That is good news. (Hooray!!) I am going for an MRI just to be sure that the MS has not progressed.
The sad news is that I have Essential Tremor in my head that I have had for umpteen years and it is now in my hands. BOO-HOO!! I thought it was MS but guess not. They are quite shaky and jerky. It is becoming more and more difficult to type, drink a cup of tea and hold a pan with hot water in it or do any sort of cooking. It is not fair to have 2 diseases.
If some of the researchers had some of these incurable diseases, betcha we’d have a cure right quick.
We did get to see our grandbabies on Saturday and that was fabulous. They are so precious and fun. Sophie (18 months) can now say ‘Papa’ and says ‘Me’ for Grammy. We just love it!!! Mason is the size of a giant teddy bear and all he likes to do is snuggle and smile. Sophie was never like that so he is a special treat at 4 months old. Papa took her to the park and they had so much fun. She loves to run around and the swing is a special treat for her.
Spring has still not come to northern New England. In fact, Hon went skiing yesterday. And he was ecstatic. Snow conditions were great. Not icy and definitely not Spring conditions yet. He maybe able to go next weekend also!
I slid down 3 steps at grandbaby’s house so am pretty sore today. Hurt my foot which went behind me, my elbow and my backend. I am a mess. Damn it!!!!
All for now, I’m going to my couch to watch TV. Now how productive a day will this be?
Till later … hugs, Marti

HI ALLI AM SO SORRY I HAVENT BEEN HERE. I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR NEGLECTING EVERYONE. I JUST HAD TO TAKE A …
Today is May 23 Thursday moring at 8:17 a.m. Sophie just woke up & we have a full day ahead of us! Yesterday went …
Gosh, you've been busy! Grandbabies are a joy, that's for sure! Got to see 2 of mine on Sat. at the 6 yr old's soccer game, then we went for ice-cream.
It IS unfair to have more than one disease! Guess I never really look at it that way. Those researchers really would work a little harder if they or theirs suffered from some of these things!
Sorry you're all banged up! Hope the soreness is gone real soon!
Love, Peace and Hugs

Marti, I'm so glad you had a nice visit with your grandbabies though I'm sorry you took a fall! Spring has not yet arrived in Ohio at least with a couple of days in the 40's yet this week... I have a yard of sheets covering my fruit trees since I lost bud and two cherries from a last cold-snap last year... One more night of ghosts on the farm, and I should be able to take the sheets down...
I PROMISE! Spring has to come and it has to be soon... Mother Nature can't hold off on us forever! Have another cup of tea, and I'll be over to join you shortly... I'm out of things to keep me entertained (except the endless cleaning that is). Oh, and I'm becoming "chicked overloaded" from all my reading! LOL xoxoxo Cj

Hi Marti, I am so sorry you fell down at you Grandbabies house. I always worry when I am their that I will if he is in my arms but now its easier because he crawls up and down the stairs. He will be 16 months old the end of the month and still isnt walking. Is Sophie walking? We have been trying to teach our grandson to say Grandma but my daughter thinks it sounds to close to Mama so he might get confused. He has a great grandma and he has said mimi. So I dont know what word we should work on. Sorry hon I rambled on again. Thats me. The weather here is suppose to get up to by the end of the week the late 60's to around 70 and I cant wait. Take Care of yourself. LOL Mary xxxooo

Hey Marti, I am sorry to hear you are feeling so bad or bad might not be the right word, scared of what the future holds. I think we all get this way at times.
Those grandbabies sure do help you with all this. They are so beautiful. My son's when they were little were so sweet. And out of the 3 I had a couple that would let me love on them for a minute without running to discover new things. My neices children are like that, her daughter is quite content but her son is a wild man! LOL
I am sorry you fell down. It is so hard and sometimes it feels like you are losing your dignity. I am now using a cane at all times. I didnt want to because I guess it was one more thing I had to face but when I can go out and about I take it.I have become off balance and clumsy too.
I hope you feel better.
love, Bonnie
