Good grief not again. More snow, sleet and rain!! I am feeling so pot-bound and if the weather doesn't improve, I'm going to go nuts! So, I decided I could mope around or be productive. So here's what happened ....
Colors Blossom in Winter
Winter closes in with ferocious intent
Bitter cold hangs from bared branches
as fog swirls colors too often unnoticed.
Blind eyes are closed to nature’s gift
but, in the still frozen morn
as the living hunker down in survival mode
colors blossom in muted hues

WOW! That's just because you are bored??? Actually, I am as well and plan to write just a basic journal... The Pups are awfully mad because it is raining... Schnauzers hate getting wet, and I would walk down for the mail alone though I was hearing thunder. Not a good idea to hike across my open field just to get the mail... Ugh... xoxoox Cj
