Journal Entry for December 3, 2007 Mood
Monday, December 3, 2007

Good morning ... for those unable to read my last journal entry, apologies. I hope this is better as I wouldn't want anyone to miss all the chatter and clatter that comes from northern NH!!!!  LOL!!

I just returned fro taking Lily for a walk and she had so much fun romping in the snow. Which by the way is really piling high. She'd bury her nose in it and then snort and snow would go eveywhere. Then she'd jump and romp like it was her first time playing in it. She was all confused as to where to do her duties but finally figured it out.

Ron got his biopsy information back and both the growth in his mouth and the 'third' eye on his forehead were benign. Thank goodness! He has a hisory of basil cell skin cancer and for once everything turned out okay. Stitches come out of his forhead this afternoon.

The results of the CT scan are at the doc's office but I can't get there until the 10th. I suppose I could call but I want to get them in person so I can see the pictures and have longer than 2 minute phone conversation with the orthopedic. As I said before, the cortisone is working somewhat and I am able to walk much better than before the shot.

Today is a beautifully snowy day, despite my hating it. The first snow is so exciting and looks so spectacular. We have at least 4 cardinals in our yard and I am trying to get a picture of one on the feeder. With the backdrop of the snow, they are breathtaking. My camera is not the best but I have asked Santa for a new one that I think will be great. My cousin has the older version and his pictures from Alaska came out beyond beautiful. So, we'll see if Santa has any extra cash this Christmas. Wink

Kids called last night and Sophie said 'hi' to us on the phone. She is just so darn precious and we're missing her something awful. But Christmas is close aqnd we'll get to spend several days with her plus, 'new baby' is due soon and we're in charge of Sophie while Mama's in the hospital. Hooray!

You all be well and know you are in my thoughts at all times.

 Til later ...

Marti, You sound better and in good spirits, I'm glad. And I hope Ron is ok, I never heard of such a thing?
The snow I'm sure is breath taking and I hope you are able to get a wonderful camera. The landscapes you have in your photo's are like a calander. I heard about a web sight where you can upload your photo's and magazines look through and purchase the ones they want to use.
I wish I could remember what it was called, but you can even send photo's of pets and people and dinner dishes for cooking mags.

Well I'm sure you are excited about the new baby and getting to spend time with Sophie, children grow so fast! My step daughter is getting so big and wearing glasses now and going to pre school before I know it she wont be a little girl anymore.

Hope your foot is nothing serious.
    Hugs, Bonnie

I am just enchanted with your descriptions. I can't wait for the pictures. That sounded very "vintage" didn't it? Be well Marti. -Jen
