This day has been an emotional rollercoaster. I received an email from Jason responding to the sotry of MS and the spoons. He was so kind and loving that I cried for 1/2 an hour. Gosh, the the kid that turned my brown hair white, has turned out to be the most loving and appreciative of all 3 of my kid. I wish he would come home from running around Europe. I miss him so much.
Then I get an email from Hon telling me that he can't take next Wed. off due to some nonsense at work. I was really wanting him to be home to help me entertain my cousin and his wife. Gads, I really wish we'd hit the lottery so he could retire. That got me crying again.
So that was a bummer. Then I received an email from my estranged brother in reply to my email concerning the estate of our mother, who died a year and a half ago. Of course, being the oldest, I am the executrix (I love that word, hate the job) and have to deal with his anger at my sister and my sister who is a whack job! That got me in tears and yelling at my mother for leaving everything such a mess. Although, I have to be honest, I don't think she knew she was leaving a mess.
A good cry is the best medicine!
After all that drama, two plants arrived in the mail so out I went to plant them. Digging in the dirt helped me to feel a bit better and get me to this point. Hon is working tonight and although I'm feeling a bit lonely, I am glad for the quiet. Men can be so noisy!
I will be in high gear tomorrow trying to get this house ready for my visitors next week. They don't care, but I do!
Till later ...
I'm glad you recognize the therapeutic value of crying... I do it frequently and think I'm more well adjusted because of it...
You mention that men are noisy... You are so right... That's the only thing I'd change about Guy if I could... Oh well...
Good luck with your high gear readying tomorrow! xo Cj

What kind of plants came in the mail?

Jen ... you can mail-order just about any kind of perennial, annual, tree, shrub, or veggie. There aren't too many good or bad for that matter, nurseries up here in the hills so I order a lot of my perennials online from garden centers that also have catalogs. My favorite is WaysideGardens (.com) They are out of South Carolina. Great plants and if something happens, they re-send. Marti

Oh I know...I get every catalog. I circle and mark. It's my porn. I like the paper catalogs. I study them like nobodies business. I was just curious. I like to know stuff.
