Close MRSA

Briefly, I thought I has a pimple inside my nose. Became painful within 24 hours. Was hospitalized with CA MRSA within 48 hours. Was put on Vancomyacin, Septra, and Rifampin along with the pain killer dilaudid. Went home week later with a pik line and Vancomyacin intervenously and Rifampin orally. Within week broke out in a rash. 3 days later I was covered in it.Taken off all meds. Rash would not respond to normal stuff so I was put on Prednisone today. I have been miserable for 3 weeks.

Treatments

Vancomycin Working / Worked

Nothing else would work. So after a day of different antibiotics they switched to Vancomycin and I started to get better.

Close Gastric Bypass Surgery

I had rouex en y gastric bypass in 2003. I lost 100 pounds and now weigh 140 pounds. I am 5ft 2inches so I am happy with my weight but I am tired all the time and no one can figure out why.
