What A Day Mood

This is the calm aftermath of the kids and G-kids. Bev and F got me the wind chime which I Love. Very rarely does Bev give gifts. Usually a card which she makes like Kaz...This year I got the sun wind chime. We all had Hamburgers from the grill with potato salad I made yesterday so it was perfect for today. A very relaxing day.

I thought all of you would love to see my furkids, the labs anyway...Captain got his picture up the other day with his summer grooming. Pocket the Rocket doesn't stay still long enough for a picture when there are balls to chase.

I threw the birds in as they were enjoying the dog food on the patio. We sat under Miss Figgy and were cooled by the gulf breeze. All of you wanted me to take it easy so I did.

Tomorrow it is back to planting seeds for the Hot weather garden and, the battle of the tomato worms...I used a organic poison and they just seem to multiply with that, so it is seven dust and death to the worms YEEEE HAWWW get off my fruit!

I missed your journal yesterday, I was sick with the stomach flu all weekend (Happy Mother's Day to me :( but that's ok) I just wanted you to know how moved I was by the way you spoke of your mother. It takes a very wise woman to know how different the times were and to find the good in your mother thru an illness that was surely frowned upon then with no help or medicines. How blessed your mother was to have a daughter that looked inside the outer layer and found the good that was there. Your depth and perception overwhelmed me! God bless you Jangy for being the special person that you are.

i to went back hon...what a beautiful way to portray your mother..smile... im afraid my outlook was more like your brothers..sigh...but that is for another conversation..grin... the wind chimes are beautiful hon...im glad that you finally listened to all and took it easy for a day at least...smile...
now go get the worms....lol
