I had a wonderful prayer request answered the day before yesterday. Ingrid Betancourt was released after 6 years of being imprisoned by Colombian Rebels I heard of her earlier in the year. It sadden my heart to see her pictures in the news. She was gaunt and tired looking. How she endured so much gives you a glimpse of the tenacity to the human will to persevere even in the worse situations. I joined my prayers with hundreds of others and our prayers were answered. I sat and wept. God is so good. We may wonder why it took so long but our God is never late. He is always on time. Praise God she is home now.
