depression sufferer for 4 years with comorbid anxiety. Hypertension and side effects of medication cocktail. My support team consists of family doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist and access to employee assistance program (EAP)and great friends.

Treatments
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Working but part of a recipe that my psychiatrist uses to treatment depression with comordid anxiety
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- having a second round of therapy after a period of wellness before relapse
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- off label use at low dosage 25mg for insomnia and nocturnal panic attacks. If panic is severe just doesn't work.
- Zoloft Not Working
- 1st antidepressant used by primary carer, discontinued by psychiatrist, replaced with Effexor. Used with Temazepam as sleeping aide.
Close Depression - Teen
Treatments
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Good for when I am feeling worst because I tend to avoid/withdraw from situation
- Effexor Working / Worked
- works best for aches and pains, both mental and physical. Sleep still a problem so atake low dose Seroquel to make sure I get unbroken sleep
- Meditation Not Working
- Music Working / Worked
- Best for use while at work for concentration
- Remeron Working / Worked
- The best thing for sleeping to avoid the nocturnal panic attacks
- Talking Working / Worked
- Having a person there to listen without judgement very important
- Writing Working / Worked
- do it every day especially when I live alone and can't always find somewone to talk with
- Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
- First line medication for six months. Effexor much better.
