Amyloidosis Support Groups (ASG) hold meetings throughout the US. Our Website is: www.amyloidosissupport.com. There you will find info on All the ASG meetings held in the US and also amyloidosis links outside of the US. We also have an on line support group through the Yahoo groups...see link below.
I am helping maintain the meetings held in UPstate NY as a co-facilitator with Muriel Finkel (President of the ASG). The next meeting here in Rochester NY is July 26th with guest speaker Dr. Jeffrey Zonder from Kamanos Cancer Institute.
We have wonderful amyloidosis specialist guest speakers who give their time to come to the ASG meetings. The support and education obtained at these meetings provide direction, Hope and contact with others dealing with this "rare" disease. "You Are Not Alone".
