Hi Rana, Are you still with us out there - Zi've been away a few weeks - I changed States.Needed a mior op. on boney spur on lower gum - my Private Zhealth Ins. wouldn't cover it, so I Upped & left. Tas. has no Dental Schol, & d no clinic. Here there's both (free for low income earners) and they even cover most of the cost of new dentures. Am changing my residence officialy - then get the op. & maybe I can eat without gum pain & inflamation. Drstic action I know! Take care, JaneD.

Hello Rana, I've been offline for 2mths - & have changed ISP- a series of minor, but painful illnesses over past 10 weeks, had 'flu so badly woke in armchair in livingroom-blazing hot-then went looking for Dad (He's been dead since '80-was hallucinating-but it was great to talk to him. Then had 3 teeth out-antibiotic-got a rare reaction: sore mouth & gums. Feeling a bit slack, so ignored diet - then got some hideous eye infection Sat. before Christmas - asked neighbour to drive me 3 blocks- he did, but in vbad grace - I'm avoiding him now. Eye drops cleared infection, but on 4th day had dreadful allergic reaction! Almost blind for 3 days. This is funny in hindsight, but I live alone since June last year, so it scares me. How are you these days. Please let me know, Fond regards JaneD.

Happy New Year my friend. What a wonderful New Year I had. I was in church from 10:30pm-12:45am. I was great. I shouted up a storm. I had to praise the Lord for all He is doing for me and how He blessed me in spite of the pain & ms attacks. He is still GOOD!! I hope that u had a wonderful & pain, symptom free New Year! Knw that I love & appreciate u! Your friend & sister, Chris

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Primary Progressive MSI'm a 4th generation MS patient that thought I knew and understood everything I could about MS until I myself was diagnosed. I have primary progressive, but to look at me most of the time, you wouldn't know it. It's all taking place on the inside. I'm trying to be brave for my family (my 15 yr. old daughter is being possibly diagnosed)but struggling to do so. I'm hoping to find someone to talk to that everything I say won't be wrote down and speculated upon.
Treatments
- Avonex Not Working
- I found I'm allergic to interferon. Pray I don't get cancer.
- Baclofen Somewhat Helpful
- Helped some, but after awhile coouldn't take enough to be helpful.
- Copaxone Somewhat Helpful
- All these meds are for r/r, but has slowed it down some, I guess.
- Rebif Not Working
- interferon 'nuf said.
