We've had a horrible time since yesterday.  Had to spend Father's Day in the ER with Jordan.  His fever was over 104.  Called the pediatritian, who said to get to the ER.  The thing with Jordan and the fever is that, since he has Ectodermal Dysplasia, he cannot cool himself off.  This is a huge deal.  We could not make the doctor at the hospital understand that.  It was majorly frustrating.  He kept telling me, "Its just a virus".  I kept telling him, "I understand that.  That's not why I'm worried.  He has Ectodermal Dysplasia and cannot cool himself off."  He sent us home. I know ED is extremely rare, but come on.  Even when I told him what was going on, he still thought I was being a paranoid freak.  I am pretty sure that the nurse thought we should stay until the fever broke.  She even told us that if it didn't come down, to take him to the ER at Grady-- a hospital that is over an hour away.  His fever finally broke, and he's all better now.  I'll write about today's drama later on.
