What a night.  I haven't gotten so little sleep since Kynzie was a week old.  She's always been a fairly good night time sleeper.  Sometimes, she wakes up a little too early, but usually falls back asleep in bed with us.  Otherwise, she only wakes up once a night to eat, usually around 3am.  So here was my night last night:

8:15pm - Kynzie goes to sleep in her crib after eating.

8:30pm - She wakes up cooing.  I rock her until 9pm and put her back down.

11:15pm - She wakes up crying.  DH "tries" to put her back to sleep, gives up, and asks me to feed her.  I put her back in her crib at midnight.

1:00am - She wakes up crying.  SH "tries" for 20 minutes.  I go in to help and he freaks out and starts swearing about how he has to get up at in 4 hours.  I rock her forever, then eventually feed her in bed with me.  She falls asleep around 2:30am.

5:15am - She wakes up when DH gets out of bed and won't fall back asleep.  I feed her AGAIN.

7:15am - awake for the morning.

Total Kynzie sleep: 7.25 broken hours

Total Mommy sleep: 5 hours?

So, I don't know what it was.  Hot room?  Dog noise?  Teething???

I hope this doesn't happen again tonight.  I'm exhausted, and DH is of absolutely NO HELP.  At least at his job he doesn't have to be 100% ON all day.  I DO!  Arg!

    Oh wow, sweetie that sounds horrible! I don't know it could be any number of the things you mentioned. I know we have to keep Noah's room cool because he does not like it warm. Hopefully she'll sleep good for you tonight. I don't think Men get that it IS work to care for a child 100% of the time and it is extremely exhausting ESPECIALLY when you don't get any sleep! Sorry. {{Hugs}}

    Girl I feel your pain. Our trip RUINED Ben's beautiful night sleep routine - he is up every 2 -3 hours ALL night long and has been for about a month. He is killing me.

    I hear ya....my DH has finally stepped up somewhat but he isn't a big help either....he says he has to be up for work and yadda yadda yadda....all they do is sit around their offices and talk and go for coffee...some work huh?!

    Could it be possible Kynzie is having a growth spurt? I know my kids have a restless night when they have a growth spurt but it passes and they are back on their schedule again after a day....they also aren't fans of the weather and air pressure here....I think they can sense the change and it wrecks havoc on their little sinuses...hang in there, you are doing wonderful!!!
