hey, thanks for the message of support. from your journal,u really seem to be going through it at the mo,i cant believe you have been treated this way, definately get yourself a second opinion,do you have to pay for your treatment?over here its free with the nhs, and never once has an operation been mentioned!!like i said before, i have a 6week wait for physio from nhs, so i have decided to pay to see someone, calling them later so i will let you know how i get on, take care. nicola x
HEY, JUST FOUND THIS WEBSITE,IM NICOLA FRM ENGLAND, TRUST ME I KNOW WOT U GOIN THRU!!I GET AWFUL PINS+NEEDLE DOWN MY RIGHT LEG NOW WHENEVER I STAND FOR MORE THAN 2MINS!!!
Its been 14 days I have had severe pain which radiates from the right lower buttock to the ankle. The pain has not subsided a little bit. I am taking hydrocodone pills every 4-5 hours which subsides the pain for 2 hours or so and again I have to pop in the medication. Went to see a neurosurgeon - after looking at X-ray plates and MRI pictures and also looking at legs - the neurosurgeon immediately told me that I should have surgery next week. No alternative options were told.
