Close Back Pain

Hi, I have had 7 major back surgeries in the last 6yrs. Most recent june of this year,I got lucky 3 days after surgery I had a lung collapse almost didn't make It& was on a ventilator for 4days because of it,lost a week of my life as I don't remember any of it, but am so happy to be alive & kickin& doin well in the recovery stages. Currently I am facing knee replacement surgery on Aug 4th I am supposed to have both knees done but due to my back I think I may do one at a time. :)

this gave me a little pain relief I wish the patches would stick better

unable to take due to fusions and ulcers

Close Chronic Pain

Hi,my name is Lisa I have undegone 6 back surgies in the last 51/2yrs will be having my 7th in a few weeks. I am fused from shoulder blades to tailbone. This last surgery was 6/18/07 . The worst part was they had to remove a whole rib on my left side to fill a 2 inch whole in my spine that disinigrated,3 days after surgery lung collapsed rushed to emergency surg. chest tube put in&put on ventilator almost didn't make it but thanks to the heavens above I'm alive & kickin and doing really well.
