John has been doing pretty well. He slept almost all day yesterday and got a goodnight sleep last night. He went to work today and just before lunch we went to the doc's for a follow up on his thyroid and they had gotten some of the other blood work results and found that his prolactin level is also running high, they say the thyroid can raise the other one and the will recheck it is 2 wks if it is still up they might do further testing... He told me today that he threw his medicine away the other night because the voices told him and that he had been throwing them away for a while. He has been good the last few days about letting me give him the medicine, I hope it continues, the voices started back up this afternoon he said they are not quite as bad but they chatter to him.. I figured it was to good to have the stop that quickly, I figured they will come and go for a while and things will slowly improve. His doc also told us that risperdal comes in a shot form and maybe once he is stable he will be able to go on that...

One day at a time I guess that is the only way we can survive....

Our oldest daughter is looking forward to going to the prom tomorrow night. She is planning a day of getting ready all day I hope the weather is good ro them. I hope my husband is able to see her without the voices bothering him to bad.. We took our youngest daughter to supper we had a nice time, even though the voices kept chatting he stayed pretty focused with us..
