Can anyone tell me why the computer takes my poems out of "form" and makes a long drawn out paragraph instead? My book, "Mama's Heart" went to the publisher!! I can hardly believe it! The poem I put in here called "I'll Carry You" has made the semi finalist group and I am waiting to hear if I get to go to Vegas to read it and be voted on as a finalist!! Too Cool, Huh?!!!I need to talk to her everyday. I hope you all won't mind if I use your ears sometimes because I don't know if she can really hear me?
I miss my girl so much and we are close to the "fifteenth" anniversary of of her death. I can hardly believe I have lived thru this but I figure that the Lord will show me why someday. Remember her on July 21st, if you will, and just say hello and that a lot of people she never knew are thinking of her that day! I love you all, my DS friends. You have made a real difference in my life. My hubby leaves tomorrow for Kuwait. I am not handling that very well at all. They say five to six months but the guys that have been there say that is a very "optomistic prediction!" With my brain, I live in a world of pessimism(sp)?

Congratulations on having your book in the Semi Finals! I hope it goes well for you...the reason your poem has gone strange here is that the font size is too big...it has to be smaller to be able to cut and paste on here...I've had this problem myself...if I want to put something on here that is bigger than the font we see...I have to retype and put it in.
