Having a tough time....I have a big mole that has been on my lower cheek for years, and it has swollen and gone bad on me....being the hypochondriacle slave that I am, I am terrified. I have an appointment tomorrow morning at 8:30 (EST). My hubby is still away in Mississippi and will be until late Sunday. Am still nursing an injured shoulder and knee (since) Jan., had doctor's appointment for that yesterday, and may have a rotater cuff problem....the knee stumped them (I always get weird stuff that doctor's can't understand), so for now I get a knee brace and ice and heat. Yay. I tread slowly towards Mother's Day...first one without Mom, and I think it will be worse than Christmas. My poor father who has dementia told me today that I need to go get friends and have a lot of fun. Boy, did he nail it on the head. I can't remember the last time I felt that thing, you know, fun. Well, as you can see, Master Depression hasn't seen fit to leave this earthly brain of mine yet, nor has Mistress Anxiety. What did Gilda Radnor say, "It's always something!" Cheerio!

Becky,I had a mole on my neck since i was a teenager. I never got it checked out by a doctor yet I allways went for my annual check ups (they just never addressed it if they saw it and I never felt like I wanted to have it looked into.) In a few days time span, here in FL, (this was about 7 years ago) it suddenly and mysteriously disappeared. However, add'l spots have reappeared elsewhere on my body, which has me thinking it went "in." My husband thinks it just went away. Being a christian has allways made me think I'm being persecuted so what's the sense in getting anything looked into by the doctors if they aren't going to give me the best of care as a human being I feel I deserve. i hope you have better luck with your doctors then I have had with mine. My knees have been bothering me on and off also. Again, not getting it checked out for fear the doctors won't care anyway. I gained about 20 lbs over the past year or so, so maybe that's why my knees are hurting me. I agree with you, we all need some fun! My daughter's 16th birthday is coming up. We are planning to do something fun. We all haven't decided exactly what yet but we have a few ideas. SeaWorld, wet n wild, etc. Probably SeaWorld for us oldsters.
