Journal Entry for November 27, 2007 Mood

Steven and I returned home last night from our Thanksgiving holiday in Dallas with his folks.  We truly had a pleasant and enjoyable Thanksgiving with them.  We arrived safe and sound in Dallas on Thursday, rested up and went out shopping.  We had our Thanksgiving feast upon our return and lounged with his folks and their adorable cat "Ashy" and new kitty "Clementine" in their new home in front of a warm and cozy fireplace.  After recuperating from the big feast that evening, we hit the outlet stores right down the street from their gated community and did some Christmas shopping.  We went to church with his folks Friday evening, did some more shopping afterwards that evening and shopped some more on Saturday, and returned home on Sunday.  It snowed here on Thursday and again yesterday, so it has been very cold here.  Snow will be in the weather forecast again this weekend.  I love the snow since I'm from Pittsburgh, PA.  In sum, this was a good Thanksgiving break.  I'm rested and back to school and work again.  Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Glad to hear you had a nice family holiday. The ones with family and friends are always the best. Sending a prayer your way for strength and endurance as you return to the normal routine.
